Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about how CS2P2P works.
Last updated: 27 March 2026
What is CS2P2P?
A tool to find other players who want to trade Counter-Strike 2 skins peer-to-peer. You can browse listings, use match-style discovery where available, and communicate on-site. Trades are completed in Steam (e.g. Steam Trade Offers), not on our servers.
Are you affiliated with Valve or Steam?
No. We are independent. Steam and Counter-Strike are trademarks of their owners. You must follow Valve’s rules when using Steam. See our Disclaimer and Terms.
Do you hold my skins or money?
Generally, no. The site helps you connect and document what you want to trade. Unless we clearly offer a separate custody or payment product with its own contract, you and the other trader complete the exchange through Steam (and any off-platform payment is entirely between you — use extreme caution).
How do I stay safe?
Read our Safe trading page. Always double-check items in the trade window, never share Steam Guard codes or passwords, and prefer trades that stay inside Steam’s official trade offer flow.
Why do you need Steam login?
We use Steam OpenID so you can sign in without us storing your Steam password. We receive a limited public profile (e.g. Steam ID, name, avatar) as allowed by the login provider. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Prices and “market value”
Reference prices (if shown) come from sources you or the site operator configure (e.g. Steam Community Market or third-party APIs). They are approximate and can be wrong or stale. Do not treat them as a guarantee of what someone will pay.
Who do I contact for support?
Email support@cs2p2p.com or use the Contact page. For privacy rights or formal notices, see that page and our Privacy Policy.
